“ Don't get misled by the location (a little bit in the backyard of main road restaurants) and the size (only a few tables). According to me it is one of the top 3 best restaurants in town. The family running it is absolutely adorable but also very competent. I believe that they must have been professionally trained. They offer an extensive range of dishes, from traditional Balinese, traditional Indonesian to western cuisine, they are able to offer a great level of quality, taste, aesthetic and price! They are indeed very affordable and definitely much better than other places which can charge twice (or more) the price they offer. If you are in Pemuteran for a few days only, like most tourists, it is a must to check. ”

What I loved the most about it is that they are so lowkey and humble - no thrills or frills, just good ol’ home cooked dishes that taste like what your mum makes. The seared tuna rolls were absolutely fantastic - packed with so many flavours and the green beans were also great. Not to mention this place is pretty well priced - a meal for 2 costs under 200k. “ Had a delicious sate ayam. Sometimes this dish is dry, but not here. It was juicy and delicious. Perfectly made in my opinion. Herb rice was good and nice with some onions to put on the peanut butter sauce. My girlfriend had a pad thai which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Good prices and friendly service. Nothing to put a finger on. Also it is a big bonus that this warung is placed away from the busy road. ”
“ We went back two nights in a row as the food here was excellent, good portions, fairly priced, and served quite quickly. The ambiance was lovely, as it's located on a side street with nice decor, cooling fans, and even cloth napkins! Not an ant to be seen on our table. The only dish in two nights that we found slightly disappointing was the black rice with coconut milk dessert, which tasted watery and bland compared to what we made during our cooking class in Ubud. The seared tuna was excellent, as were the soups and salads I tried. Red Curry chicken was maybe a bit sweet for our taste. Overall, probably our second favorite restaurant in 1.5 weeks in Indonesia. ”
